V type ball valve is one kind of ball valves whose closing member is its type “V”open mouth on the hemisphere which has sharp cutting edge. During the gyrating process of the ball, the closing members can scrub each other and strongly cut the fluid. Its type “V”open mouth and seat port will form a sector region to change the cross-sectional area of the port and accurately adjust the fluid. V type ball valve is a kind of rotary angle control valve. Its sealing is same as the common ball valve, which equip it with control and on-off two functions. V type ball valve, together with the supporting pneumatic or electric actuator, is widely used in the self-control system of industry.

    Metal sealing ratings: According to the following table if no request from customer, otherwise, according to GB/T 4213-2007 V standards.
    Pressure of strength test is 1.5 times nominal pressure, and sealing test of packing and flange is 1.1 times nominal pressure, seat sealing is tested by the maximum using pressure difference. If the maximum using pressure difference is not clear, it should be tested by 1.0MPa water pressure. If the maximum using pressure difference is less than 0.6MPa, it should be tested by 0.6MPa, and the fluid should be the water with scale and corrosion inhibitor.
